The team behind Ampere Partner: founder and curated network of specialists in electrical engineering, PLC programming, and expert witness services — small by design, deep in expertise, focused on Northern and Eastern Germany.
Who we are
Ampere Partner is the sole proprietorship of Stefan Brammer in Berlin, complemented by a curated network of specialist partners for ship, machinery, and expert-witness work. When this site says “we”, that is the constellation we mean: Stefan Brammer as the responsible engineer on one side, established partner firms with their own accreditations on the other — not an anonymous large office, but a deliberately small, technically deep setup.

Background
Not a typical electrician. The path began with an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer — working on production and packaging machines in the food industry. Mechanics, electrics, and programming as one discipline from day one.
After qualifying as a master craftsman in precision mechanics, the next step was a renowned hydraulics company in Hamburg — handling the complex cases that others couldn’t solve.
PLC technology became a focus early on. Siemens S7, TIA Portal, S7-1500 — and the realization that many companies operate systems nobody understands anymore. That has stayed.
The expert witness work emerged from practice. Someone who programs systems, analyzes damage, and solves technical questions can assess neutrally — and document it in writing.
Self-employed with Ampere Partner since January 2023.

Ingenieurbüro P.H. Nibbe — Hamburg
Publicly appointed and court-sworn experts for ship and machinery damage (Hamburg Chamber of Commerce). Accredited for eCMID offshore inspections, stability and structural analysis, and welding engineering.
Ampere Partner is regularly engaged by Ingenieurbüro Nibbe for electrotechnical assessments. In turn, our clients gain access to court-certified expert witness capabilities when needed — for insurance claims, maritime incidents, or regulatory proceedings.
